FOUR PAWS has released a new report exposing that sportswear world leader Nike, uses untraceable wool. This means that they cannot truly claim to be certified mulesing-free and sheep in their supply chain may be subjected to the cruel mutilation practice.
While only offering a handful of merino based products, it is easy to switch to a product range free from cruelty. Although the range is small, the repercussions of this phase-out could make an immense impact for thousands of lambs.
Athletes and fans of the brand are outraged and demand Nike lead by example and use their power to not only control supply chains, but to demand better from their partners, and to prioritize sheep welfare.

Guidelines for the Videos
- Introduce yourself: Who are you, what sport do you enjoy, and how important is it to have sports in your life.
- Describe: What do you think about mulesing and how do you feel about animals injured for sportswear.
- Don't forget: Tell Nike that you want them to commit to certified mulesing-free wool and contribute to the end of mulesing.
- Film your video (preferably in portrait format) while wearing sportswear, or where you do your sport activity! Avoid having loud noises in the background if possible.
